Pleasant Assyrtiko from Boutari. Lean and fresh, but not at all austere. A bit of an herbal component underneath the lemon and pear notes. JS says aged without oak.....I'll buy that, the palate certainly doesnt give one the impression of any wood influence. Worked very well with a creamy pesto salmon pasta dish. Tasted Sep 2026.
