Fruit forward and ripe, almost raisined, this has black cherry, raspberry, strawberry, black tea, and black pepper spice aromas, all of which echo on the dry, medium to medium-full bodied palate with very good concentration. Acids are well-balanced, while the tannins are smooth and supple. A touch oaky on the mid-palate, while peppery, black tea, and savoury earth notes linger on the finish, with very good length.
