The fresh, bright nose is fruit forward with dark red cherry aromas nuanced with spices and dark minerals of medium-high intensity. On the dry, medium-full bodied palate it has structured and grippy tannins and lovely dark cherry, red berry, spice, and mineral flavours. Lively acids are juicy and well-balanced. Lovely curranty, cassis, and spice notes linger on the long, crisp, and well-balanced finish. Tasted May 2024.
An absolutely delicious Nero D'avola. Not one for long keeping but to be enjoyed in its youthful splendor. $18? A steal. Wish I had bought a few more bottles. Tasted Sep 2025.
