Fragrant & open, the medium+ to medium-high intensity nose has ripe black & purple fruits, blackberry, cedary oak, spice, black cherry & plum aromas + whiffs of reductive notes. Medium+ to medium-full bodied palate is dry & spicy w/ ripe black & purple fruits, cedar oak, plum, black cherry flavours supported by crisp & bright acidity. Touches of licorice & sweet vanillin oak join the party on mid-palate. Ripe tannins are mildly grippy w/ good structure. Ripe black fruits w/ cedary oak & cocoa on long, juicy finish.
