The aromas of this CdP from this highly regarded vintage are promising. On the palate however, not quite so exciting. Highly concentrated for sure, with flavours of dark fruit and hints of garrigue. But the wine simply goes over the top, with notes of super ripe fruit and noted alcohol. The finish is slightly astringent and more high alcohol. Yes, CdP are high in alcohol but this is simply out of balance. The quality of the fruit is obvious, but they should have picked 1-2 weeks early. A Parker wine. Drink now, this will never be in balance. Tasted Nov 2014.
