On the nose, I’m picking up notes of tobacco. The palate leans earthy, with hints of leather. The tannins still show some grip, giving the wine structure and presence. This would pair beautifully with a steak or a well-curated charcuterie board. It’s rare to encounter these kinds of mature, savory notes at this price point. I find myself particularly drawn to wines with this profile.
