My wife and I tasted a number of Palliser wines in 2006, while on Steve Thurlow's first NZ wine tour. Our brief note on their 2004 chardonnay reads "enticing ripe fruit, citrus, oak; good balance". All of which applies to this 2022 edition, along with great complexity and finish. A bit of a splurge for us budget-conscious tipplers, but well worth it for both the quality of this delicious wine, and the memories. Tasted December 2024.
