Blend of 85% Cabernet Sauvignon and 15% Merlot. The fragrant, medium-high to highly aromatic nose is elegantly rich and ripe with lovely red berry, currant, cassis, savoury earth, integrated oak spice, and dried herb aromas. The rich, concentrated, and full-bodied palate has flavours of vanillin and cedar oak, plus ripe red currant, red cherry, and hints of mineral and grilled pepper. It has juicy acids and smooth, refined, and well-structured tannins. Dried herbs and leafy linger on the finish, with excellent length. Tasted Apr. 2024.
