Mainly Sangiovese (Prugnolo Gentile), the ripe, medium-high to highly aromatic nose has fine sweet oak spice aromas mingling with bright red cherry and dried floral notes. It's full-bodied on the dry, dense, and concentrated palate with lovely aroma replays that echo on the flavour profile. It has juicy, structured acids and firm tannins. Long, earthy, and cedary finish. Tasted May 2023.
