This Sangiovese has a fresh, elegant, and lovely nose of medium-high intensity delivering focused and attractive aromas of red Bing cherry, dried rose floral, and sweet spices. On the medium to medium-full bodied palate it has very nice, elegant aroma replays with touches of spice adding further complexity. Fine tannins are well-structured and balanced with fresh acids. Herbal characters join the cherry and dried florals on the long, and very satisfying finish. Tasted May 2024.

Great value, but acidity needs time to moderate and find true balance. Will put away a few bottles and revisit.

Easy going CC, with rather sweet red cherry flavours, a bit softly structured, somewhat atypical for Sangiovese. Tasty and easy to like but, in the end, a bit simple for $29. Drink in the nearer term. Tasted Nov 2024.
