Such a lovely bottle of Manzanilla. I've tried this one a few times and had this particular bottle for maybe a year. This is definitely not the pale lemon colour that has been described or as I remember, as it's almost medium to deep golden as a little cloudy. Despite this, it's still the light-bodied has incredible acidity and nutty and salty tang. I always have difficulty giving notes for sherry, though I can say this one, in particular, is an amazing value and pairs beautifully with olives and Serrano ham as well as my favourite pairing of miso soup and sushi. Tasted May 2014

Pale lemon in colour, developing nose of dried orange peel, browning apple, pine nuts, olives and a hint of brine. Well balanced acidity and alcohol. The finish lingers with a pleasing almond, green olive and umami note. Mar 2011.
