This a great deal – seriously outperforming its price. It is a big sweet, spicy red with cassis, menthol, licorice...

Here's a well balanced, elegant, yet distinctly Australian style Shiraz, with plush fruit, soft but abundant tannins...

The 2007 Coriole Redstone Shiraz is a nicely aromatic, medium bodied wine with notes of FRUITY to integrated strawberry, blackberry, bilberry, blueberry, smoke, oak and rosehip. Tannins are subtle to refined (decant for 15 min or more) and the finish is long. It is good to drink now or can be kept for short term cellaring. My impression: BEAUTIFUL, 91 pts - I definitely recommend this wine as it combines value and quality. Tasted Dec/10.

Fruit and spice on the nose and a surprisingly smooth mouthfeel at this price point. Plenty of tannins but not harsh; it will be very interesting to see how this one ages over the next year or two. A long medium/full-bodied finish....at $18, it's a great value and can hold its own against some wines that are twice the price.

Decant and let breath for one hour.

A rich and concentrated nose; dark fruit, cassis, earthy, cedar (lots of it) and licorice. Mouth feel is heavy with too much oak, a bit tart and drying tannins. Finish is long, dry and spicy. Food wine for sure. I would lay this one down for 1-2 years. Was actually much better the next day. Tasted February 2011.
