On the medium+ bodied palate it is clean & crisp, with fine mousse that delivers lightly honeyed, yet dry, flavours of strawberry, red cherry, raspberry, lemon & peach. Fresh acidity is clean and crisp, with a succulent, slightly chalky mouthfeel on the mid-palate. Lovely red berry & strawberry flavours are joined by mineral notes on the long-lasting, dry finish. Last tasted Dec. 2022.
The mousse here is medium fine, the nose shows toast with strawberry jam, and a hint of raspberry. It’s golden with a light salmon-pink tinge. In the mouth the bubbles are fine, and the wine presents a citrus-infused flavour profile - lemon and tangerine, with a crisp, clean lemon finish.
I just love a fine sparkler. This is a very fine sparkling wine. Made in the traditional method blending Pinot Noir, Chardonnay and a hint of Syrah, it shows crisp acidity with muted fruit flavours. I think it will have mass appeal and I'd serve it for any one of my parties. :)
A rustic rosé sparkling wine that has underlying charm.
Description: Rustic brick red in colour with a medium intense nose. This sparkling wine features light yeast, strawberry, McIntosh apples, truffles and forest greens. Medium+ body with good acidity and a fairly long length.
Negatives: None
Interesting Note: Originally tasted in 2014, and this batch is better.
Drink now or in the next couple of years on its own or pair it with Mushroom and Prosciutto, Asparagus and Brie Tartines.

Something of a disappointment from what is generally one of Niagara's best producers of sparkling wine, this NV rosé has appealing, if muted, strawberry, raspberry, and tart lemon-lime flavours, along with a bit of nuttiness, but overall it just comes across as simultaneously bland and rough. It's also quite dry, and the restraint is fine, but this unfortunately lacks both elegance and punch, and it's not helped by the bitterness that emerges on the finish.
