Mainly Sangiovese (~80%), the nose seems shy, offering earthy, oak spice, red and dark red cherry, clove, and wet earth aromas. It's full-bodied, impressively structured, and dry with lovely, flavourful aroma replays on the palate. Acids are juicy, while the integrating tannins are still on the youthful side. Savoury and earthy on the long, structured finish. Tasted May 2023. Score: 91+ pts
