This 50/50 blend of Tinta Roriz and Castelão is fresh and fruity with dark plum, black fruit, and wild berry aromas with touches of peppery spice and earth. On the medium-full bodied palate it's a touch spicy, followed by dark fruited, black raspberry, plummy, wild berry, spice, and earthy flavours which are supported by fresh, juicy acidity. Smooth tannins are supple well-structured, while the finish is long and crisp. Tasted May 2024. Score: 88+ pts
