Blend of 47% Merlot, 25% Cabernet Franc, and 23% Malbec. Fragrant, ripe, savoury, and complex aromas of red & black fruits, dark cherry, blackberry, currant, cassis, and black raspberry, plus tobacco and oak spices notes adding further complexity. It's dry and medium-full bodied with elegant and ripe tannins that are well-structured. Flavours of currant, plum, blackberry, sweet cassis, dark cherry, and gentle wood spice are neatly balanced and supported by fresh acidity. It's well-balanced throughout, while earthy notes linger on the long, composed finish. Tasted Apr. 2024. Score: 93+ pts
