Primarily Sangiovese (90%) with 10% Canaiolo and other complementary varieties, this has a medium+ intensity nose of savoury red cherry, earth, oak, and black cherry aromas. It's medium-full bodied and dry on the palate with smooth, ripe tannins and very good acidity that supports the cherry, earth, clove, sweet spice, and herb flavours. Spicy and earthy notes linger on the long finish. Tasted May 2026.
