The rich, medium+ to medium-high intensity nose offers pleasing, ripe red & black fruit, currant, raspberry, oak spice, chocolate & savoury earth aromas, plus hints of plum, meaty & mineral notes. It's medium-bodied on the dry palate w/ delicious, tangy red & black fruits, currant, raspberry, savoury earth flavours, plus subtle oak spice, black pepper & meaty notes add further character. It has fresh, lemony acidity, while smooth, supple & refined tannins are well-managed. Touch of chalky grip on back palate. Tangy w/ savoury earth & mineral notes linger on long, fresh finish. Tasted Mar. 2024.
