100% Sangiovese. The medium to medium+ intensity nose seems a bit shy, offering red cherry, clove, currant, and savoury earth aromas. The crunchy fruited, medium-bodied palate has elegant aromas replays joined by hints of orange and wood spice flavours adding complexity. It has fresh, juicy acidity, while the tannins are a touch youthful and chalky. Very good length on the long, elegant finish. Tasted May 2022. Score: 90+ pts
