Strong ruby red colour, but still just translucent. Intense aromas of vanilla, leather, and jammy blackcurrant. Dry, medium acidity wine with lots of strong tannins left. On the palate, this wine is more fruit forward than the nose would have led you to believe, jammy cherry and blackcurrant, lots of vanilla and some earthiness. Long finish.
Tasted March, 2012.
Awesome wine.
Tasted June 2011. Very nice!!
Excellent bouquet. Nov 2012
The 2007 Navarro Correas Alegoria Cabernet Sauvignon Gran Reserva, aged in French oak for 18 months, is a medium to full bodied, fruity to integrated wine, with intense aromas of black currant, blackberry, oak and subtle vanilla. It is slightly acidic, has tannins that are refined to tannic (decant for 15 to 30 min) and a long finish. Drink now or cellar till 2020. My impression: BEAUTIFUL, 90 pts - excellent buy for $16.20 (originally for $19.95) - pick up the few remaining bottles. Tasted Mar/12.

This very enjoyable wine at such a reasonable price means good value on my Christmas shopping list.

Gargantuan nuclear warhead of a new world cab. All fruit and oak all up in your face - like drinking wine concentrate. Complex and flavorful, it really evolved away from the oak after some time in my mouth. It's nice, it's just a classically new-world bomb cab.
IMO, a sipping wine not a food wine because food will just get overwhelmed by the wine.
Real good as far as that goes, but know what you're getting.
This is a nice Wine.
I was able to get this for $14.95 on sale, and at that, a tremendous value.
at $19.95, I feel that there are others out there that I would rather explore.
Tasting notes the next time a bottle is opened (June 2011)
This is one interesting wine, robust and complex. You're not going to define it with one or two sips. We found the finish a little rough around the edges, with a hint of alcohol and the tannins a touch chewy. Would love to try it again in a few years. If you like your Cabs really full bodied, this is for you.

Quite tasty - about what I would expect for $16.20. The 2005 is currently being sold under the same UPC and I think it's a got a bit more to it.
