This wine should not cost $10 but don't tell the people at Farnese. Deep red/purple in colour, medium body and spicy fruits. This is a great deal.

Cherries, blums, spices, and dustiness on the nose. Medium to full bodied with plenty of tannin that is balanced with a good amount of fruit. The alcohol stands out on the wine somewhat.

Fantastic Italian Red, Great Value, great fruit for $8 a bottle. a best value on the shelf at lcbo. i have bought, and brought this wine to parties and ppl think its a expensive bottle. when i tell them the price they can't believe it. a go to wine at the lcbo enjoy with bolgnaise and fresh pasta, or braised rabbit with tomatoes and gnocchi.

For the price, three is good value. I'd buy it again but was not overly impressed.
Granted, I paired it with nothing and did not decant, so it may be better than I give credit.

Had this wine with a meat pasta, I thought it was average, however the wife didn't like it.
