Clear medium gold colour. Slow thick tears. Loads of minerality on the nose, a little flint, buttermilk, light cereal note, quince, pie crust, fresh pears. Generous body and viscous weight balanced with high acidity. Round flavours of lees, cream, yellow apples. Medium plus length.
Normally I never disagree with Szabo's or Lawrason's reviews but this wine is completely lacking in acidity (bordering on flabby quite frankly) and far too much wood. Sense of place, or fruit? No way.
