This blend of 44% Sangiovese, 37% Cabernet Sauvignon, and 19% Merlot has a clean, medium-high intensity nose of dark cherry, clove, and currant aromas with touches of cassis and earth adding complexity. It's medium-to-full bodied on the dry palate with lovely currant, cassis, clove, and dark red cherry replays, plus chocolate flavours. It has very good acidity, and creamy, textured, and well-structured tannins. Excellent length on the well-balanced, savoury chocolate finish. Tasted Oct. 2022. Score 91+ pts
