On the nose, there are citrus and mineral, as well as subtle flinty notes. There is also a touch of (non-intrusive) toasted oak that dissipated over time. On the palate, there is tremendous intensity but it also maintains a delicate balance, which is at least partially related to the appropriate amount of acidity on its relativey long finish. The bonus - this bottle was found on sale at the Manulife LCBO ($34.40)! Recommended.
This is a good wine.
