No doubt about it, the Speck Bros have a solid track record with this varietal. At the entry level, this is certainly no monument to pinotness, but they have fashioned a fruit-forward, crowd-pleasing quaffer that is light on its feet, with no discernable oak influence or tannin. Also, bravo for putting it under a screwcap... I would welcome this innovation for their higher-end offerings as well.
