The medium+ intensity nose offers red and black cherry, gentle wood spice, strawberry, earth, and beetroot aromas, all of which follow on the nicely on the gently spiced, smoky, and ripe fruited medium+ bodied palate. There's good tannin levels and structure, plus fresh acidity, driving through to the gently smoky finish, with very good length. Tasted Nov. 2023. Score: 88+ pts
