An Awesome wine!!!
Golden colour with modest, tinny, steady bubbles, leading to a short lived froth on the surface. All the classic vidal notes on the nose of apricot, peach and some nectarine. A wonderful balance of dryness from the fizz with a soft sweet finish. Not so much yeasty notes but the dry raisin bread comes through with all the apricot and tropical fruit notes. Just the right amount of acidity to balance. This wine could go with an endless list of food: foie, caviar, oysters, crepes, all cheese, fruit or like me just between wines.
