After 20 mins this wine opens up the fruit that appears hidden at first. Great accompaniment to meat...maybe even a steak. Quite dry on the finish.

This wine was still great after 12 years, but may be past its prime. I still enjoyed it very much though. This wine really opened up within a few minutes after opening it. Great finish with decent complexity. Very smooth / light tannins. Tasted July 2014.
