A well-made, vibrant Chianti Classico. Sangiovese 95%, Canaiolo 5% aged for 12 months in 50 hl Slavonian oak. No resorting to heavy wooding or over-extraction, just pure Sangiovese fruit (oh, yeah, and that bit of Canailol too). Good food wine. Or nice sipping while doing just about anything at all....cutting the lawn, ranking the leaves, going for a fall stroll. Tasted Oct 2022.
