The fresh, medium-high intensity nose delivers well-balanced aromas of evergreen, leafy, and herbs mingling with both red black fruits, cassis, and currant, and touches of sandalwood in a cool-climate profile. It's medium+ bodied with ripe, grainy textured tannins and lovely aroma replays on the palate. Acids are fresh and saliva-inducing. Oak, plus touches of woodsmoke and mineral join the currant, cassis, and evergreen notes on the long, satisfying finish. Tasted May 2022.
