The 2006 Stratus Petit Verdot has intense notes of lees, yeasty red currant and barnyard. It is a medium bodied, extra-dry, lightly reduced wine; with forward, crisp acidity, refined tannins and a medium finish. This is a sipping wine for those who enjoy lightly reduced aromas; drink now – 2016/18. My impression: NICE, 88 pts (two bottles were tasted).
