My first experience with a BC Sauvignon Blanc was not a disappointment. This Oldfield Reserve cuvée from the Golden Mile Bench in the south of the valley is produced in the amount of 330 cases. It comes with a beautiful straw yellow color. Disappointing first nose with a bit of cat pee but it dissipates quickly to give way to intense scents of industrial white breadcrumbs with a touch of strawberry. The palate is all round with flavors of guava and exotic fruits. Really satisfying.
