60/40 blend of Tannat and Cabernet Franc. Rich, intense, and ripe dark black fruited aromas with spice, wood, and hints of stony minerals rising out of the glass. On the concentrated, full-bodied palate it has a complex mix of dark fruits, currant, blackberry, wood spice, earthy, and stony mineral flavours supported very good, juicy acidity. Structured, fine-grained, and slightly drying tannins are integrating very nicely. Dark fruits with mineral and earthy notes linger on the long finish. Tasted July/2021.

Earthy aromas after the initial pop and pour, then perfume, cardamom, plum, cherry, oak, leather and bell peppers. Palate was the same with hint of dusty tannins that was tamed by the acidity. Almost had a mineral like finish at the end but the cardamom bumps it out of the way at the last second. But with some time in the glass the cardamom also gets bumped, but this time by cassis. This wine is drinking well now, good food wine.
