I am not a wine expert, but how many of us really are! So in laymen's terms, this wine is awesome! It is for sure the wine i go to when i have friends and family over.
LCBO on sale sometimes $18, best wine in the cellar, very full bodied and sweet?
had it before. long lasting taste with stake. Try with roasted wine.
Our staple red. Love the full-bodied nature, and the romance of having been to Paso Robles for a wine tour...a sentimental fave that is well worth the price time and time again.
Bold, full bodied, fruity, ripe. Delicious! My go to wine. Great value in its price range.
A somewhat full-bodied red.
The nose is of fresh fruit and berries. Nice legs. Decanting does not really mature the tannins a whole lot.
The tongue is of jam, ripe blackberries, cherries, and vanilla. There is moderate sweetness; however, the tannins nicely balance and complement red meats.
The finish is not all that long or complex, but does impart a nice end to a decent cabernet sauvignon.
Pretty good with value price...
Both bright and lustrous, aromas of black fruits fill the nose. Essences of vanilla and other deep toasty notes linger before the sipping. The mouth-filling body is silky smooth with the same flavors carrying through to a slightly oily finish of tar and violets.
Yes, the feeling in the mouth is nice to start, but there just seems to be something over-worked and stressed. The softness of the tannin feels clammy on the tongue. This leads to a flabby and fatty smooth feeling like a big lick of margarine just coated the palate with oil.
