Hmmm,, snobbery at the vineyard! Let's face it folks...you're no more wine connoisseurs than I am ... so pretentious! It's all personal taste!
I found it to be a little too acidic for my taste. Still a fine Pinot but I wouldn't run out and replace the bottle.
For those that enjoy a more acidic wine this Pinot Grigio will satisfy. Light, dry and crisp are its virtues...not complicated nor overly sophisticated but will make a nice pairing for most meals.
Enjoyed very much with homemade butter chicken, the fruityness and acidity was just the right compliment to the spicy creamy chicken dish :)
Definitely NOT something I'll be buying again any time soon.
If the category is "non-offensive white wines" then this one is a winner. Unfortunately I look for a lot more in a white wine.
Served with a wild boar and apricot terrine the pairing was good but I like my white wines to be excellent.
