Lovely, highly aromatic nose delivers very pretty cherry, dried rose floral, and sweet spice aromas which follow through on the palate, joined by wood spice notes. Acids are very good, while the finish is long and balanced. Needs a few years for the very grippy and chalky tannins to integrate. Tasted Sept/2019.
Very classical barolo, full of roses and deep tar flavours. What it lacks in profundity it makes up for in low cost.
