An interesting wine. Dominated by red fruit with some nice supporting character. Notes of jammy strawberry, red currant, cherry, tobacco, leather, ash, earth, and black pepper. Medium bodied with medium plus tannins. Although initially fruit forward, the earthy element dominates the finish. Very good length.

Rustic, chewy wine. Cola and good fruit in the dried spectrum with black pepper. Ruby colour, Drier tannic finish.

Ripe raspberry and red cherry, with notes of wet earth and leather on the nose. Slight effervescence with strawberry predominating on the palate balanced by subtle tannins and acidity. Short finish with strawberry jam flavours. An interesting wine. However, it must also be judged by its price and this bottle does not live up to its cost.

NB: WineAlign appears to mask scores below 85, labelling them as "not rated" but this deserves no more than 84 points, factoring in value-for-money.
