(90?)-Aug 2010. Amazing value for an outstanding wine.
I tried this wine because I wanted to see how good Malbec based wine (80% Malbec, 20% Merlot) from the Southwest part of France will be compare to the Argentinian one. So to be fair, France is the origin of this grape - over the years the French decided to use less of it - it used to be part of the 5 Bordeaux grpaes blend (some may still use small quantities).
Full of flavors, beautifully concentrated yet elegant. smooth and round with a bit of dusty tannins. Lots of dark fruit and cocoa powder.
Enjoy with a good juicy steak.
