Golden in the glass, this wine is definitely showing its age. A little closed at first, once this warmed up for 20 mins in the glass this rich white had an expressive nose of dried peach and apricots and hazelnut aromas along with notes of white flowers. There's also interesting sherry-like aromas that might send some people looking for a different wine. On the palate, it's medium-full bodied with medium acidity and has a long finish. While I can't see this being for everyone, it's an extremely interesting and an excellent example of an aged wine. Tasted March 2013.
