Aromas of grapefruit hit me first. That was followed by aromas of cut grass and dill. I was surprised that this wine did not have the crisp acidity that I was expecting. I was disappointed at first that it was not the crisp wine I wanted but then I began to love the nice tropical fruit flavors with a refreshing lime finish.

100% Clone 95 Sauvignon Blanc that was hand-picked and gently whole-bunch pressed. 25% wild fermented. Fresh, medium-high to highly aromatic nose delivers citrus, melon, passion fruit, and grapefruit aromas. The clean, fresh, well-balanced palate has fresh lively acids with ripe fruited flavours of citrus, melon, asparagus, passion fruit and grapefruit. Only hints of reductive characters throughout. It’s long and juicy on the palate quenching finish. Tasted Mar/2020.
