A blend of Wairau and Awatere Valley fruit, this has fresh, yeasty, leesy, and minerally aromas joined by grapefruit, citrus, tropical fruit, and kiwi notes. Some lees contact during maturation adds weight and texture to the light-to-medium bodied palate which is led by very nice tropical fruit replays plus hints of herbally and green pepper flavours. Acids are fresh and clean. Very good length on the juicy finish. Tasted Mar/2020.
