Pinot noir and Trousseau is a varietal combo I have never tried, but would definitely drink again. The wine is a pale ruby in the glass. The nose has some complexity with notes of cherry, strawberry, raspberry, rhubarb, forest floor, black pepper, graphite, nutmeg, and violet with a hint of brettanomyces that serves to elevate the complexity. Medium bodied, with medium plus, chewy tannins. Medium plus acidity and very good length.
