a nice rustic but classic rioja. smoky musty wood aromas with strawberry fruit and cherries, also hints of spice/ herbs. the palate offers more of the same with a semi smooth but sandy tannic mouth feel. finishes with sour cherries. it medium bodied. nice wine - 13.95 worth purchasing a few bottles
