Ten-year-old St Estephe and what a banger food wine. No bricking on the rim but sediment inside the bottle. 56% Merlot, 40% Cab, 2% Cab Franc, 2%
Petit Verdot Medium minus aromas of cassis, dried red fruit, cream, potting soil, dried herbs, game, and perfume. A juicy delicious wine with flavours of cassis, red plum, cocoa, red currant, and a hint of dusty tannins. Medium plus acidity with soft tannins after 90 minutes. Lovely.- March 2024
