A soft, cuddly CdR here from Montirius, especially for a Vaaqueyras. Big ripe fruit, not particularly complex or long finishing, but damn delicious and no signs of barnyard or volatility that occasionally have marred this producer's offerings in the past. Clearly intended for early consumption. This was purchased at the new(er) LCBO/Vintages as Spadina and Front...not widely released...for about $21.50. Tasted Oct 2019.
