A fresh and lively unoaked Pinot Gris Here from Malivoire. This ain't no watery cheapo Pinot Grigio (though, to be fair Italy does have some stellar pinot grigios). Ripe but with great acidity, flavours revolve around pear and peach with a hint of sweetness (though the wine is very dry, just 2 g/L RS) -just an illusion I suppose thanks to nicely ripened grapes). Great food wine, and super sipper in this summer heat. Drink it short term while it is fresh. Tasted July 2020.
