It was a cool vintage and so no surprise there has been no rush for this wine to get anywhere too quick. That it has...

A blend of 54% Merlot, 43% Cabernet Sauvignon, and 3% Petit Verdot, this has a medium-high intensity nose of red berry scented, sweet cassis, and currant notes with savoury hints. It's full-ish bodied on the palate with nice aroma replays on the flavour profile. Acids are still quite fresh, while structured tannins have some grip on the tannic palate. Juicy finish is long and dry. Enjoyable now, but I would cellar 2-3 years. Tasted Feb/2020.
