Underwhelming. Maybe my biggest disappointment so far in wine tasting/reviewing. Yes; it is a pretty good grenache-based wine, but at $94.00 I should be falling out of my chair right? I am not. To me it lacks any sort of distinctive "terroir" flavour profile. Look further south to some of Chapoutier's LR grenache-based wines instead, or try D'Arenbergs stuff from Oz. This tastes as manipulated and manufactured as many Napa Cabs. Fact.
