There is something very down to earth about this Barolo. It has something to do with 'earthiness', but the nose has...

The nose is highly aromatic with lovely Morello cherry, red berry, clove, floral, spice and some underlying earthiness. It is medium+ bodied on the palate with nicely managed, fine-grained tannins that have some grip. Very nicely balanced overall with lovely replays on the flavour profile. Juicy acids are balanced and the finish length is excellent. Enjoyable now or over the next 10 years. Tasted Oct/2018.
