Interesting wine. if i guessed blindly I would think it was a Cabernet Sauvignon/Cab Franc/Merlot blend.

I have no idea why they would say (above) that this will become more austere with age...that makes no sense. If anything it will almost certainly soften and develop a more complex bouquet.
And how exactly do aromas become "prouder"?? Enough with hyperbolic wine writing please.

Anyway..

Fine tannins, dark, earthy berries. leather, nice oak control. Slightly Herbal.

Will easily cellar for 5-10 years.

Good wine..Not sure it $48 good.
